💬 My gallery is full of screenshots I don't remember taking

I just checked my gallery and I have 2,861 screenshots. I don't remember taking most of them. Last night in bed I tried to delete the useless ones. Couldn't tell you which ones those were. A photo of a water heater from some shop. No price, no model number, just a white heater. And a 4 digit number written next to it that I can't place at all. There's a screenshot of a chat with someone called Nadeem, just 1 message. It says, okay done, send it. Send what? Done what? I've looked through my contacts and none of the 3 Nadeems I know ring a bell. There's a train timetable for a route I've never taken. There's the back of a medicine strip. There's one of the Riyadh metro map, which makes sense, and 4 more of the same map, which doesn't. My brother says just delete everything and move on. He has 11 screenshots on his phone and he's proud. I did try. Last Friday I deleted 300 in one go and felt amazing for about 5 minutes. Then I started worrying that a bank transfer receipt might have been in that batch. Spent 40 minutes in the recently deleted folder looking for it. Found it. Didn't need it. Put all 300 back. So now it's 2,861 and going up. Yesterday I added 6 more, all of them a bus ticket I'd already used. I'm keeping the Nadeem one. If he ever turns up and asks where his thing is, I'm covered. The water heater one I'll never solve, so I've decided that's a mystery for another year. If somebody here has a system for this, post it. I'll screenshot it and never read it.

A screenshot of a chat that says okay done, send it, with no name or context is a mystery I would lose sleep over. I have 1,900 and the oldest one is a bus time for a route I stopped taking in 2020. Maybe delete 50 a day while the tea is brewing. It took me 2 weeks and I felt strangely lighter.

Constantly. I just checked and I have 4,312 screenshots. Most of them I can't explain at all. A recipe I never made.
