Another one for the Hyderabad crowd, and on a weekday too, nice. More members means more variety in the talk, and everybody reading the forum gains from that. One tip from me: keep an eye on your notifications. Threads move fast in the evenings and it's easy to miss a reply if you only log in once a day. After a few chats with someone you get along with, you can message them privately too. Anyway, have fun. And if you get stuck somewhere on the site, just ask.

Hello Khaja. Short intros like yours are the best, nobody wants to read a life story. If you get lost on the site, check the FAQ page first. It answers most of what new people ask, and it saves you waiting on a reply. Take your time getting to know people, no rush at all. The regulars are a patient lot.

You said you want knowledge, and that's rare. Plenty of people just come to chat and vanish. There's a lot here, jobs, phones, local problems, even festivals and faith discussions. Pick one section and follow it for a week, see if it clicks. Waiting to see your first thread, Khaja, even if it's only a couple of lines to start.

I read old threads for about a week before I posted anything myself, and it helped a lot. Don't worry about sounding basic, nobody here minds that at all. What are you into? Phones, jobs, something else? Tell us and someone will point you to the right place.
