Been reading threads here for 1 month without ever posting, figured it was time to say hi properly. Excited to start joining in on discussions instead of just scrolling.

Scrolling without posting is how most of us started, so no judgment here. The good thing about waiting is you already know the culture and the regular names, and who argues with whom. Your first reply won't feel like jumping into the unknown, because you know the place by now. Jump in whenever you like. We'll be glad to see you around, no matter what you post.

Good to have you posting. Your username says DesiAbroad, so I'm guessing you live outside India and miss home. The NRI section might feel familiar, with threads on visas, remittances and missing family festivals. Which country are you in, if you don't mind saying? Makes it easier for people to answer you with advice that's useful to you.

Good to see you after all those months of reading quietly, DesiAbroad. A lot of members start that way, and the first post is always the hardest, mine took three drafts.
