Hi everyone, been reading posts here for a while and finally made an account. I'm from Kukatpally, work in marketing, and mostly here for the local updates and shayari section. Looking forward to being part of the community!

Local updates and shayari is a lovely combination of interests. Serious news in the morning and a good couplet at night is how a lot of us use the site. Do you have a favourite poet, or do you prefer reading new writers on the forum? Mine is an old Deccani writer whose lines my grandmother used to recite at family gatherings.

Welcome. I joined for the local updates too, so Local Issues is my first stop. People post about water supply, roads and power cuts there, with dates and areas, which saves a lot of guessing. Sometimes there's no news anywhere else, but a thread here gets replies from people on the same street. That's the real value of a local forum, if you ask me.

Nice to see someone from the west side, since most members seem to be from the old city.

Kukatpally has a good mix of old residents and newcomers, and the metro station made commuting easier. Do you work nearby, or travel to Hitech City or Madhapur each day? I'd guess the latter. The ride is usually quicker than the bus, but the crowd after six in the evening is heavy. Hope the commute treats you well, my friend. Welcome to the forum.

Welcome. The shayari section is smaller than the others, but there are some real gems in it. I read it at night when I can't sleep, and it relaxes me a little, better than scrolling my phone.

Welcome, neighbour. I live near KPHB, so Kukatpally is practically my area too, I pass the main road daily. Traffic near the JNTU junction comes up whenever locals talk, so you must have stories. Local updates are mostly in Local Issues, there are some active threads there. Say hello again once you've read a few, and tell me which ones you agree with.
