Booked my LPG refill on a Monday. It came the next Sunday. 6 days.
Called our distributor on day 3 and they said my KYC is pending. News to me, I updated it in March.
I still have the message from the company saying it's done. Showed them. They said they'll check.
Nobody called back. Waited another 3 days with the induction going non stop.
When the cylinder finally came, the delivery guy wanted ₹60 more than the bill.
For carrying it up to the third floor, he said. Wasn't leaving it till I paid.
We'd been on the induction for 2 days by then so I paid. What else are you going to do.
60 rupees, fine. But it's every single time, and everyone in our building just pays it.
Price has gone up so much this year that gas is a proper line in our monthly budget now.
Keep reading the subsidy was adjusted. I see nothing different in my account.
Using the induction more just moved the money to the electricity bill.
Called the company's customer care after all this. They said everything is fine in their records.
So the KYC excuse was the local distributor, not the system. Somehow that's worse.
I've filed an online complaint about the extra charge. Will update here if anything happens. Probably won't.
A neighbour says some buildings book together so the distributor takes them more seriously, might try that.
If you booked a refill recently, how many days did it take and did they ask for extra at the door?
