💬 3 new hoardings at Kondapur junctions and I can't see the cross road

In the last few weeks 3 big hoardings have come up around Kondapur, all at junctions. They block the view at corners where it's already hard to see what's coming from the side. One of them is on my daily route, right at a turn on the bike where you need a clear view. I nearly got hit last week because of it. A scooter came out of nowhere from behind the board. None of them has a permit sticker or a reference number that I could find on it. They look like they went up overnight. Some local sale or event, a different one every week. I've seen it before. One goes up, sits for a few weeks, then gets replaced by another. Nobody seems to check them in between, and I can't tell if anyone is supposed to. I did find a way to report them on the GHMC site. I sent photos and the rough location for all 3. I'm not expecting much, to be honest. They've sat there before, and I assume they will again. It would help if there was some kind of public list showing which ones were reported. Then we could see if anything gets removed or if the complaints just disappear into a pile. Has anyone had a hoarding taken down quickly after reporting it? What did you do that worked? My friend says he just kept calling the same number every second day until something moved. I don't have that kind of patience, but I might try a few calls this week. Meanwhile I slow right down at those corners, and I'd suggest you do too.

I nearly got sideswiped last month at a junction because a hoarding hid a bike coming from the side road.

Siraj's point about not knowing if it was the complaint or a routine sweep is the frustrating part for me too. Reported one near a school crossing months ago and it is still standing exactly where it was, blocking half the view for anyone turning left.

The missing permit sticker detail is exactly what I look for now before assuming any hoarding is legal.

I reported one at a roundabout last year and it did come down, after about a month. I never found out if it was my complaint or a routine clean up that happened to include that spot. That's the part that bothers me, because I can't tell what works. A public list would help. Even a simple board saying reported on this date, removed on this date would be good enough.
