💬 Potholes near Tolichowki signal are getting worse after the rain

Almost wrecked my bike tyre yesterday near the Tolichowki signal. A big pothole came out of nowhere. I swerved right before the crossing and the car behind me honked like it was my fault. There are 4 or 5 of them clustered exactly where everyone slows down to stop at the signal. So people are braking and swerving at the same moment, which is a bad mix. After the rain they fill with water and look exactly like puddles. You only know when the wheel drops. At night it's worse, because the streetlights there are dim and you can't see them until you're on top. A friend who rides through daily has had 2 near falls this month alone. Now he takes a longer route every evening just to avoid that stretch. I filed a complaint on the GHMC app about 10 days ago, with photos attached. No update since then. The status still just says received, like nobody has opened it. Someone told me they patched the same spot a few months back. It washed away in 2 weeks. Auto drivers hate that road too, because a full pothole rattles the whole vehicle and everyone inside it. Some shop owners along the road have started filling the worst ones with loose gravel themselves. That's kind of them, but the gravel is usually gone from the road by the next day. Even a barricade or a warning sign near the worst ones would help until proper repair happens. Anyone else riding there? Is it just that signal or the whole road that's gone?

Take a photo of the exact spot with a landmark in it before you complain again.

I go through that signal in a shared auto most mornings and the jolt there is real. Last week my lunch bag slid off my lap when we dropped into one near the crossing. The driver just shrugged and said everyone knows about it already. If the app complaint stays stuck, I'd go and ask the shop owners there, because they see it daily.

Same signal, same pothole. I ride through there every morning around 9 on my way to Mehdipatnam. Last week I watched a man on a scooter hit it and nearly go over. His tiffin box flew across the road. They patched it in August. It took 1 rain to wash the patch out. I've started taking the long way round. Adds 10 minutes, but my tyres and my back are thanking me.
