💬 Battery draining way too fast after the latest update

Ever since I updated my phone software last week, the battery has been draining almost twice as fast as before. Anyone else facing this? Not sure if it is a bug in the update or just my battery health going down.

This happened to me too after my last update. Usually it settles down after a day or two once the phone finishes re-indexing everything in the background. If it does not improve, check your battery usage list in settings and see if one particular app is suddenly using way more battery than before - that is usually the real culprit, not the update itself.

Same thing happened on my phone. In my case it turned out to be a rogue app running in the background non-stop after the update. Try rebooting once and also check if any app got auto-updated around the same time - that fixed it for me instead of it being the OS update itself.
