My GTX 1650 has started to struggle with newer games. I'm playing at 1080p
and it stutters more every month. My budget is 25000 rupees, and I'm only
swapping the graphics card. The processor and power supply stay. I don't need ultra settings.
I just want a steady 60 fps without the stutter every time something explodes.
Right now I drop to around 40 in busy scenes, and it makes me
annoyed more than I'd admit. I keep going back and forth between new and used.
Used cards look much better value on the market right now. What scares me
is mining. A seller can say the card was used lightly and I'd have
no way to check. If there's a simple test I can do in the shop,
tell me. I'll carry a laptop if needed. New costs more, but at least
it comes with a bill and a warranty card. Has anyone jumped from a
1650 recently? I'd like to hear what you bought and how big the difference felt.
Not benchmark numbers. I mean the games you play and whether they feel smoother
when you sit down. Also my power supply is a bit old, so I'm worried
a stronger card will make the PC crash. Please tell me the wattage you used,
so I can compare it with mine. Model names would help a lot. If
I have a name, I can go compare prices at the local shops. A tier
like mid range tells me nothing, because every shopkeeper says his card is mid range.
I'll probably buy this weekend, so I want 2 or 3 more opinions before I spend
the money. Thanks in advance. I'll post what I end up buying and how it runs.
