📱 Google Pixel 7: Why is my touchscreen not responding?

My Google Pixel 7 touchscreen randomly stops responding for a few seconds, mostly while typing or scrolling through apps. It comes back on its own without restarting the phone. Screen protector was checked and removed to rule that out. What could be causing this touchscreen issue?
