🎤 Vivo V27: Why is my microphone not working?

My Vivo V27 microphone is not picking up my voice properly during calls, the other person keeps saying I sound muffled or completely silent at times. Speakerphone mode has the exact same problem during calls. Voice recording through other apps also sounds noticeably distorted compared to before.

Since both normal calls and speakerphone recordings are affected, the problem is likely with the Vivo V27’s microphone hardware rather than the calling app. First, gently clean the microphone openings and remove any case or screen protector blocking them. Restart the phone and check for software updates. You can also test the microphone using the built-in recorder. If recordings remain distorted, the microphone or audio circuit may need professional inspection. Avoid inserting sharp objects into the microphone holes, as this can cause further damage.
