Finally watched RRR last Saturday. I know, I know. Everyone told me to and I kept saying next week.
My friend Imran even offered to bring over his projector. I still said no. Don't ask me why.
Then one evening there was nothing else on and no excuse left, so I pressed play.
It's 3 hours long and I didn't look at my phone once, which never happens.
The tiger scene came early and I sat up straight. I thought, how do you top that?
Then they just kept going. The bridge, the fire, the big fight near the end with everything on screen.
I should have been tired of it by then. I wasn't. I was shouting at my laptop.
My mother came in to check if I was fine. I said yes, Ram Charan is about to do something.
The 2 leads are what make it work. You believe they'd take a bullet for each other.
I've seen big stars share a screen and just take turns. Here it felt like a friendship I could believe.
And the songs. I've been humming Naatu Naatu in the shower for a week.
My neighbour has started humming it back through the wall, badly.
I'd put it next to Baahubali, maybe a little above because the story hits harder.
That's only my opinion after 1 watch, so go easy on me.
Now tell me what else I've been avoiding. 1 film everyone loves that I've skipped for no reason.
I'll watch it within the week this time, I promise you all.
