💬 Which Git commands do you really use every day?

I got put on my first team project 3 months ago and everyone kept saying, just rebase it. I nodded like I knew. Then I went home and googled what rebase even means for 2 hours. Before this my Git was add, commit, push, all on the main branch. That was the whole list. Nobody told me branches were a thing until a senior looked at my screen and went quiet. Last month I ran a command I found online, and 2 of my teammate's commits vanished from my screen. My heart stopped. It turned out they were still there, I had just checked out the wrong branch. A senior named Praveen showed me reflog and said it was a safety net for people like me. I wrote that word on a sticky note and stuck it on my monitor. It's still there. Now I'm putting together a short sheet for the next batch of freshers who join us. So far it has 9 commands. Status, add, commit, push, pull, switch, branch, log and stash. I left out rebase and cherry-pick because I'm scared to explain something I barely understand myself. My team lead said the sheet should fit on 1 page, so I'm already cutting things out. What does your daily list look like? Not the fancy stuff, just what you type without thinking. Also, is there a command you wish someone had warned you about before your first week? I'd rather copy real habits than a tutorial list that nobody uses at work. Whatever I get here goes on the sheet, and I'll share the final version in this thread.

I'd disagree about leaving out rebase, but only a little. You don't need to use it, just recognise it. My old team merged everything, and the history looked like a bowl of noodles after 6 months.
